I know many of you might think that to have a good website you have to be \u201ctechy\u201d. Many times, this is wrong. Some of the most basic elements to what make a successful site are very avoidable. It might come as a painful surprise, but grammar and spelling mistakes are still a re-occurring phenomenon. Please edit your content, check for typos and get a second opinion. If you are not sure about a word, don\u2019t use it. This might seem like common sense but at the end of the day we\u2019re human and mistakes happen. But going back to even more basic details, if the photo of the property your are selling is aesthetically questionable, please don\u2019t use it. \u00a0Ask yourself \u201cWill this photo help me sell this property?\u201d If the answer is no, use another photo. Websites are purely visual platforms, and the photo must do your property justice. Try to keep it as up to date as possible, with fresh and unique content that talks about you and your business. There is nothing more frustrating than seeing a website that has outdated and stock information. The more time you spend on it, the more time other people will spend on it as well.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<h2>Too much clutter<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Short and sweet and to the point, that is what people look for in a site. A page that requires a lot of reading and\/or scrolling is seen as a time commitment most people aren\u2019t willing to take. People usually go to the internet for answers. If their answer is hidden somewhere in-between a clutter of information they don\u2019t need, chances are they will move on to the next. Decide what you want your focal point to be, make your contact information readily available and offer simple and intuitive navigation options.
