I can see you\u2019re working on a website dedicated to a particular area, or a particular type of property.<\/p>\n<p>Why am I wiggling my eyebrows at you? Because the hardest part of this process is choosing your niche, and if you\u2019re already writing \u201cFor Sellers\u201d page content, then you\u2019ve paved the way for us already!<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re doing it \u201cright,\u201d then you can actually picture the person that you\u2019re writing to. You\u2019re visualizing the prospective client who\u2019s considering selling their property.<\/p>\n<p>And now, Google has handed them right to you. Your website came in at the top of their search and they\u2019ve clicked through to the \u201cFor Sellers\u201d page and\u2026 let\u2019s woo them. It\u2019s time to win them over.<\/p>\n<h4>Your \u201cFor Sellers\u201d page should be like a great first date.<\/h4>\n<p>Rather than your typical generic content, you\u2019re going to take the opportunity to <strong>remember the best service you ever provided<\/strong>, to the best client you ever worked for, and you\u2019re going to <strong>tell this prospective seller all about it<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Use your \u201cFor Sellers\u201d page to show the seller your best self, and include the long list of benefits this prospect will reap from your relationship. Demonstrate how you\u2019ll market their home and let the seller know how much experience you have negotiating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Don\u2019t go too far without some good website copy writing style tips:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Be conversational<\/strong> and lean towards writing the way you would speak.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Read it out loud<\/strong> (to a friend, or pretend you\u2019re reading it to a friend)! Don\u2019t be afraid to spell this out. <em>TIP: You could make this its own page, if you have enough content!\n<p><\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sneak Peek.<\/strong> Tell them what to expect when they work with you on selling their home. What kind of service you provide [specifically to this niche]. What makes you stand out from other agents serving this area?<\/li>\n<li><strong>Their Turn.<\/strong> The purpose of your website is turning your website visitors into contacts into clients. So ask them to reach out to you, whether it\u2019s a call, email, or to fill out a form &#8211; whatever next step you want them to take.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And if you\u2019re still stuck, and you want to yell \u201cI\u2019m a Realtor, not a writer!\u201d then by all means\u2026 outsource, hire, or buy your chattiest friend a bottle of wine to get her to put your words into writing.<\/p>\n<h4>Creating a \u201cFor Sellers\u201d page on your website assures prospective clients that you\u2019re not infatuated with your niche.
