Colonel Sanders, with his secret recipe for Kentucky Fried Chicken, got his \u201cYes\u201d after pitching the idea 1,009 times!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe get it pounded into us that no is rejection\u2014and rejection is painful. No is bad,\u201d \u2014  Tom Hopkins, How to Master the Art of Selling<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Famous people and anyone else who has done something remarkable have learned to embrace rejection to achieve their dreams.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reject Rejection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIf someone says no, just say NEXT!\u201d \u2014 Jack Canfield <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If something is worth your commitment and you\u2019re passionate in doing, you\u2019re going to face a lot of \u201cNo\u201d. Rejection is always there ready to teach you a lesson to persevere. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What you do after the rejection is very important. Consider all the rejections you receive as valuable input. Listen, understand, and learn from the fears and doubts that you\u2019re experiencing. So that you\u2019ll be more prepared and equipped with the right mindset and condition of heart the next time you pitch your idea.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Always remember to keep moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There Is No Place For Self-Rejection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you listen to the voice in your head saying the \u201cWhat-ifs\u201d, you\u2019ll start doubting yourself and that will resonate in how you communicate your idea to your audience or customers. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tell that voice to back off!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doubting yourself is far more worse than being rejected by a prospect. It\u2019s eating you up, derail and stop you from achieving your goals.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steven Pressfield describes internal rejection as \u201cResistance\u201d in his book The War of Art.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cResistance cannot be seen, touched, heard, or smelled. But it can be felt. We experience it as an energy field radiating from a work-in-potential. It\u2019s a repelling force. It\u2019s negative. Its aim is to shove us away, distract us, prevent us from doing our work.\u201d \u2014 Steven Pressfield, The War of Art<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Resisting the rejection inside your head is the hardest to overcome. But it\u2019s very important that you do this because you cannot get anyone to say yes until you start believing in yourself and the things that you are doing.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rejection Is A Step To Success<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI have not failed. I\u2019ve just found 10,000 ways that won\u2019t work. I am not discouraged because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.\u201d \u2014 Thomas Edison<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every time you are rejected, smile and learn from it.
