Well, in his words&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I\u2019ll be attempting to ascend the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grousemountain.com\/Winter\/vancouver-bc-hiking-trails-trips\/grouse-grind.asp\">Grouse Grind<\/a> a record 14x in a single day on June 23rd, 2010 (plus, raise $15,000 for charity). That\u2019s 14x up a 2.9 km trail with 853 m elevation gain and an average grade of approximately 30%. If successful, I will have climbed 40.6 km and ascended 11.9 km in elevation in approximately 16 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Those that know me know that I don\u2019t need a reason to do something like this, other than the challenge. However, I happen to have a fantastic motivation. I am attempting the record in order to raise funds and awareness for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sebastianalbrecht.com\/royal_lepage_shelter_foundation.php\">RLP Shelter Foundation<\/a> (in support of women\u2019s shelters and violence prevention programs).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Are you interested in helping?
