Myself and my girlfriend, my parents, my 2 younger brothers and their girlfriends all went down to Mexico for an 8 day vacation. (right: here is most of us at breakfast) It was a great break and the weather could not have been better. \ud83d\ude42

\nI had an opportunity to meet with Vancouver native Joel Burslem<\/a> when he was up from Portland for the Christmas break. Joel works as a marketing consultant with a large real estate company in Portland and also runs the widely read blog called www.futureofrealestatemarketing.com<\/a>. He and I met at the Cactus Club<\/a> on Vancouver’s Robson street<\/a> and it was a great opportunity to finally meet face to face as well as discuss what is upcoming for 2007 in Canada and the US. \"vancouverTonight was the Vancouver Real Estate Tech Meetup<\/a> Group’s night to meet at Milans in Yaletown. As expected we had a smaller crowd<\/a> as most people still seem to be just getting back from their vacations. But, the smaller group did not hamper the groups real estate technology talks. Jordan Behan from telltenfriends.com<\/a> who is new to the Vancouver RET Meetup came out tonight with his Realtor brother Wesley<\/a> to check out the group and talk technology. Mike Blaney<\/a> made an appearance and gave a few of us a demonstration of his new HTML Email software. Vancouver RET Meetup faithful attendees Ian Watt<\/a> and Joel Carcone<\/a> were also in attendance. It was great to see everyone again. Be sure to RSVP for February’s Meetup<\/a>.
