{"id":612,"date":"2007-07-24T15:47:22","date_gmt":"2007-07-24T23:47:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.ubertor.com\/2007\/07\/24\/internet-goes-on-vacation\/"},"modified":"2007-07-24T15:47:22","modified_gmt":"2007-07-24T23:47:22","slug":"internet-goes-on-vacation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ubertor.com\/blog\/2007\/07\/24\/internet-goes-on-vacation\/","title":{"rendered":"Internet goes on vacation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.techcrunch.com\/2007\/07\/24\/key-sites-offline-today-major-sf-power-outage-may-be-to-blame\/\">TechCrunch<\/a> is reporting that the San Francisco area has had a major outage to some key websites on the internet.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.netflix.com\/Register\">Netflix<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/technorati.com\/\">Technorati<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Craigslist.org\">Craigslist<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.typepad.com\/\">Typepad<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vox.com\/\">Vox<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yelp.com\/\">Yelp<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alexa.com\/\">Alexa<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livejournal.com\/\">LiveJournal<\/a> were all down this morning, some are still down.  I guess that is why there is no such thing as 100% uptime. <\/p>\n<p>On the lighter side, here is a great video that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futureofrealestatemarketing.com\/the-sky-is-falling\">Joel over at futureofrealestatemarketing.com posted<\/a>.
