I had the honor of being included to preview the new Jack Nicklaus golf course at Wyndansea in Ucluelet, BC in June of 2007. The development came with much fanfare and the way we were toured around the location was amazing. (previous post, all pictures)
I noticed on VancouverSun.com yesterday that the creditors have listed the luxury resort at Ucluelet for $37-million. “Ucluelet’s Wyndansea Oceanfront Resort project is the latest major golf, hotel and residential Island development to go on the market after falling into financial troubles.” Check out the Sun’s complete story.
