We have been pushing our Realtors to add their listings to craigslist for quite a long time now and the agents that do it are seeing extremely good results. We are even running Craigslist.com training classes on how to add listings to Craigslist.com as well as the best way to do it. If your not doing it you should be and if you are, good for you! 🙂
Here is a note that I received from a client of ours about the real estate sale that came from Craigslist.com:
Two items to note – Lance recently received a referral from an agent in Calgary who was sending his son out to purchase a condo, which did culminate into a sale. The agent surfed around the net and chose Lance strictly because of his website and the way it reflected Lance’s personality. Pretty cool.
Secondly, Lance just sold a $1,000,000 home in our area last week to someone who had found the listing on craigslist. It was a multiple offer situation and the purchaser was using his own Realtor, however he had found the listing himself and was so pleased to end up being the winning bid. Though the house would have sold anyway, we thought it was great that we were able to see some first hand results from posting the listings on that site.
