I have my “right hand” assistant coaching me with blogging. This is by first comment which I suppose makes me a virgin blogger or maybe now I no longer am, I guess. In any event, she brought your comments about Calgary keywords to my attention.

I suppose I could focus on keywords that would bring traffic or keywords that would bring the “right” traffic. Several of the suggested keywords are builders (Jager, Carolina & Nelson). These are people looking for specific sites are they not. Also my site is not focused on retirement properties or acreages so even with these people visiting my site I would not likely hold them unless I want to change my site to target those markets. They not surfing for a specific topics, maybe not my best travelers.

The mis-spelled keywords and the phrases that have the words in the wrong order might be choices that would bring potential targeted traffic as long as I wouldn’t have the incorporate them into the body text of my site. Doing so would degrade the presentation, do you agree?

I will add “msl listings in calgary” & “real estates listing in calgary” and let you know how it goes. These irregularities are reasonably subtle. I am tiring of knocking my head against the same wall that everyone else is pounding away at being the same old keywords and phrases.

    I appreciate your research.

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for the feedback. The real key to having a great website is providing quality, unique content for your visitors. What areas are you targeting?

Lets say, you wanted to come up higher for users searching for homes in Lake Bonivista. I would write a page or 10 about Lake Bonivista, the community centers, the schools, housing prices, the lakes, etc. Unique content is key.

Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions – steve [at] ubertor.com

    Thanks
