Ubertor’s On-Page Editor version 2 Beta is now available for testing!
This software is still in development, so we recommend that you test this version on a test site.
You can test the Beta version by chatting through our LiveChat support. They’ll be happy to activate it for you.
The current target for the final release is January 31, 2021. This is just over a month away, so your help is needed to ensure this release is tested properly.
Updates in a nutshell:
– Optimized the OPE and theme to load faster
– We have a streamlined and task-focused interface
— All actions are placed on the left sidebar
— We’ve separate actions that affect the page and whole website respectively
– Better OPE and widgets placement
– Overall improved experience on customization
– We’ve focused on optimizing the 5 most used themes first, then slowly release other themes on future updates.
Developer notes
OPE v2 Beta has lots of refinements to the designer/developer experience, even for those that wanted to DIY their websites. We have streamlined things to make the experience of customizing your website more user-friendly. We also introduce new widgets to help you fill up your new website with initial content that is editable to suit your needs.
