Greg has some interesting offline promotion techniques for promoting your new listings:

“We print business card-sized promotional pieces to advertise our open houses. These are distributed to every house in the neighborhood, since the neighbors may know someone who wants to live nearby.

During the school day, there will be more than 100 cars in the school parking lot, most of them driven there from out of the neighborhood. Some of those folks are sick of commuting.

Most local retailers will have some kind of bulletin board. Your cards belong there.”

Bless you, Stephen. Starting this week, we’re going to be documenting our full listing praxis — online and offline — everything we do to launch a home with what we hope is the greatest possible chance for success in the marketplace. This particular home required repairs, touch-ups and staging — we call it The Full Chetson, after another client’s listing — so we’ll have a lot to talk about.

    Hi Betsy,
You would have to ask Greg how he does it and the costs involved. He is having a seminar in Phoenix that I believe explains all of his techniques. A bit of a drive, but it is nice in Phoenix. 🙂
